Spills & Thrills – Edition #1

I've decided to add a fun new post segment to this blog called Spills & Thrills, which is obviously my version of thumbs-up and thumbs-down on things happening in my life or in general.  Feel free to email anything you'd like me to add to the next edition, stephanie@fabyoubliss.com.  This should be fun! Here's what I have to start the week off...   SPILLS *  Why every bottle of club soda I open explodes all over me. *  The dog who bit me at the dog park this weekend and especially the owners who didn't even apologize.  Seriously rude! *  The lack of warmth in Click Here to Read More

A Beyond Gorgeous Ceremony Set-Up Complete with a Gray Silk Covered Ceiling & Fantastic Chandeliers

Good morning and happy Monday Fab You Bliss readers!  It's starting to really feel like fall here on the coast of California, at least in the mornings and evenings when it's quite chilly and The Hubby and I play "see-saw" with the heater controls.  Like most women, I'm pretty much cold all the time...unless it's between 72 and 74 degrees, that's what The Hubby says anyway.  And just between me and you, he's right...but shhhh, don't tell him I agreed ;-)   Anyhow, moving on to today's feature, the wedding of Nicole and Elias, which comes to us from Sarah Whitmeyer of Whitmeyer Click Here to Read More

A Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City Hotel Wedding Complete with Korean Dancers, Chinese Lion Dancers and a Korean Paepaek Ceremony, Part 1

Today we have a beautiful Hilton Los Angeles Universal City wedding photographed by amazing photographer Chelsea Elizabeth.  We featured another gorgeous wedding shot by Chelsea back in August here and she definitely doesn't disappoint with this one either.  Chelsea is based in Southern California but available for travel and although she is in our area, Avalie and I have not met her.  However, Stephanie our Editor has and she tells us she is truly one of the nicest photographers she has ever met.  Coupled with the amazing work she does, we all think you'd be truly lucky to have her Click Here to Read More

A Palm Cove Golf and Yacht Club Wedding

We love the starfish theme in the Palm Cove Golf and Yacht Club wedding photographed by Melissa DeJong of Stay Forever Photography.  And look at how interesting these Badgley Mischka shoes are.  The soft, flower-petal-like fabric is so fitting and along with bride Maureen's San Patrick dress and groom Brian's tan suit and pink tie, we think this Florida yacht club wedding is fabulously appropriate.  And look at the hand-made "I Do" and "Me-Too" signs hanging off the golf cart, aren't they super cute and creative?  We also love the floating sail boat and the one on "dry land" as well.  Such Click Here to Read More

Hey You There…Yeah You with Your Unleashed Dog, Be Kind & Help a Buddy Out!

Obviously this post isn't wedding related.  It's been a while, but occasionally we like to mix things up and post recipes, home inspiration, married life topics and ones like this.  It should be no secret that we adore our Goldendoodle Quinley. I mean, both The Hubby and I have grown extremely attached to her in the eleven months since we brought her home. And that fact is clearly evident by the amount of images taken of her and posted to Facebook, Twitter and this blog. I mean, it sort of boarders on obsessive! But that's okay...I'm alright with it, I'm a Doodle junkie and I freely admit it. Click Here to Read More

An Intimate Backyard Wedding Overlooking Lake Champlain and the blue Adirondack Mountains

Photographed by Studio SB, bride and groom Jorie and Hal, along with their wedding planner Belinda Norris of Belinda Norris Events, created a day that was elegant, cozy and sumptuous...all in their own backyard!  The ceremony and reception took place in the backyard of Jorie's Mother's home.   However, it wasn't just ANY backyard...their vows took place perched above a pebbled beach with sunny Lake Champlain and the blue Adirondack Mountains as their backdrop.  The mossy outdoor bar, the sparkling reception tent and the indoor late-night rave made this secluded backyard wedding feel more Click Here to Read More

A Lovely Lakewood, Colorado Wedding with Damask Print Accents

Today's first wedding comes from Lakewood, Colorado and was photographed by Pippin's Pictures.  Sara and Brad were married in July at The Den at Fox Hollow, a cozy place on Fox Hollow Golf course with great views and a sun drenched patio, a perfect place for a lovely summer wedding.  Sara's maids were dressed in pretty purple dresses matching Sara's beautiful and fun shoes.  And the three flower girl's dresses were accented with a Damask print that was featured throughout the wedding.  We're really diggin' Brad's purple Argyle socks too!  It's always FAB when the groom adds a little color Click Here to Read More

A US Marine, His Wife to Be and Their Love

One of today's features, shot and submitted by Diana Rush Photography, is Melissa and Nathan's engagement session shown here below.  Nathan is in the US Marine Corp. and he proposed to Melissa shortly before he left for training.  While he was away, Melissa put together an engagement session that would reflect them as a couple and mixed both their love of horses and the outdoors, as well as the USMC.  Nathan has now been deployed to Afghanistan and along with their photographer Diana, we are happy they were able to capture these images before he left, but even more...I know we all wish Click Here to Read More
