Named for General Francis Marion, the “Swamp Fox”of the American Revolution, the Francis Marion Hotel opened in 1924 as the largest and grandest in the Carolinas. And grand it definitely still is. Which is why Nicki & Michael chose to have their wedding there with the actual ceremony in one of the lovely ballrooms in front of a gorgeous colonial fireplace. From Nicki’s sweet A-line gown to her kitten heel peep toe pumps and elegantly pulled up hair, she looked stunning from head to toe. And with Michael and his groomsmen all in tan suits and the bridesmaids in pretty one shoulder maroon gowns, this wedding party looked fabulous! But best of all it’s clear that everyone had a wonderful time, especially the bride and groom.
