Marisa and Brian are such an awesome and sweet couple and their wedding was amazing. They did a wonderful DIY Rustic, vintage wedding. She made her own brooch bouquet, handpicked over 200 zenias, made the table runners and hoopa, used her grandmas scarfs to make a banner for the dessert table and candy bar and made a cute games section. They skipped the cake and traditional dances and instead of a DJ or band they used an iPod and a friend to play music. Brian also wrote Marisa a song which he played for her at the reception on his acoustic guitar. And they used the guitar case for collecting cards and presents. Marisa and Brian wrote the guests table numbers on old window frames and hung their engagement photos with twine and clothes pins around the cocktail area. And they even had a visit from the rescued resident owl, Sam Adams. Another unique thing they did was have a salt ceremony where they poured salt into one jar to represent the blending of their lives, kind of like a sand ceremony. Both the engagement session and the wedding were photographed by the amazing BG Productions who, as I’m sure you can tell, did a fabulous job on all of these gorgeous images. Add all of this together and you get one fantastic day that neither the bride, groom or anyone in attendance will soon forget.
