We’ve had some colorful weddings posted here on FYB before, but this one takes the proverbial colorful cake, (so-to-speak), in a wonderful way! All of these colors together makes me so happy, just the way a wedding should be…full of happiness.
Meredith and Matt were married in a gorgeous outdoor ceremony on May 21, 2011, at High Bridge Park in Wilmore, Kentucky. These two are absolutely adorable and, as you can see, they had tons of thoughtful and colorful details to accent their day. The mason jars echoed those Matt set up to hold candles the night he proposed. Meredith made the multi-colored bags pictured for her bridesmaids, as well as the bracelets each bridesmaid wore. The candelabra set up in the front of the ceremony area was used in Meredith’s grandmother’s and mother’s wedding. Meredith’s grandfather and his friend made the cake stand, and Meredith wore her grandmother’s ring on her right hand and carried her handkerchief. Meredith and Matt originally wanted to have a morning wedding with a huge breakfast reception. However, they ended up moving the wedding to the evening, but stuck with the breakfast food theme for one of the most delicious receptions ever! Photographed by Nashville Wedding Photographers Jen & Chris Creed, Meredith and Matt’s colorful wedding was an all around fabulous day!
