Lake Tahoe is a very special place for today’s bride and groom, Beth and Joel, because Beth had spent summers there with her family since she was little and Joel had joined since they started dating. They chose the Davis Estate because the house is private and sets up beautifully for a ceremony/reception and they felt it was the perfect setting for an intimate outdoor wedding. Besides, given it is right on the water and also has a separate mingling cocktail area for the guests, once Beth saw the view, she knew she didn’t want to get married anywhere else. Beth chose lilac for her color because she spotted a lilac dress when she was looking through bridal magazines and fell in love with it right away. And as for their bridal party, Beth and Joel each chose a mix of best friends, sisters and cousins. And for Beth, getting ready with her bridesmaids the morning of the wedding at her dad’s cabin, listening to Adele and having all her best friends and sisters around was definitely a special part of her day. But her most memorable moment was seeing Joel with tears in his eyes as she walked down the isle. It was beautiful and something she will never forget! Photographed by the amazing Brandi Schlagel of Indigo Photography Tahoe, Beth and Joel’s wedding was everything they hoped it could be.
