Surprise, It’s My Birthday…

Guess what? It’s my BIRTHDAY!!! Yup, another year wiser. Another fresh slate ahead of me where the sky’s the limit and the only thing stopping me is whatever I let in my way. That’s a good way of looking at anything, don’t you think? But celebrating my birthday has always been a huge deal for me. And getting older hasn’t changed that. In fact, a few years back I decided why should we celebrate just one day, instead…let’s make the whole month of February “Stephy Month”. So that’s what we do….happy birthday month and happy actual birthday day today!

Anyhow, I’ve been wanting to do a “Daily Life” post so what better day to do one than on my birthday? And to start it out like this with my two favorites…The Hubby and Pupp-Awg Extraordinaire, this day is already awesome!

Here we are first thing in the morning. Quinley waits until our eyes open…

…then IT’S UPPPPP TIME!!!!

Next…we’re off to the dog park for an hour or so of playtime. Can you tell who rules our lives yet?

Quinley has a lot of regular friends at the dog park. This German Shepherd is new…and he’s kind of getting a little fresh for their first date

This is Penny…she’s one of Quinley’s dog park friends. Isn’t she cute?

Obviously I found something to be funny. But that’s not difficult at the dog park. There’s usually something funny happening at every turn.

After the dog park, we’re off to Cafe Nouveau…the only truly dog friendly restaurant in Ventura. And the owner/manager is so sweet. The first time we brought Quinley there as a puppy he gave her a little dog toy to take home. We brought him a new one for his dogs the next time we came. He knows us now and we are regular customers. It’s awesome…our own little Cheers! Sorry, I didn’t take any pictures inside…I was too hungry

Once we return home from lunch, this is how the Pupp-Awg would like to be for the rest of the day.

I’m tirrrrrrreeeeeedddddd! Oh, but we have more to come Quinley…

Time to get a little bit of work done. A craft blogger’s work is never done! And obviously it’s REALLY serious too…haha! How about my Bret Michaels headband? Rock on!

Then this beautiful arrangement arrived on our doorstep. Look at these gorgeous flowers my sister sent me! Awe…love you Boo!!!

And we’re off again…to have more food and drinks.

Then a little afternoon run on the beach with Quinley’s favorite buddy Ana.

Some afternoon Mimosas….

I ended the day with an hour massage that The Hubby purchased for me at a local spa followed by a home cooked steak & lobster dinner that he made for me along with a mini-lava cake for desert, yum! What a wonderful day! I couldn’t have asked for anything more and I feel truly blessed to have such a wonderful life!
