I have a love affair with lace. Yup…it’s hard core, full blown and I freely admit it might be a problem that needs constant attention. Luckily with today’s wedding I’m going to get my fill and in the most gorgeous way!
Bride Nicole and groom Rocky planned a beautiful, vintage-chic backyard wedding in Southern California. There was a one little glitch though. Yup, it poured down rain the night before the wedding and everything outside got soaking wet.
Fortunately, many people pitched in to dry everything off and the clouds cleared just as the bride arrived.
Although the day was a bit chilly, the rain stayed away until part way through the reception when the skies once again released rain while the bride’s father blessed the newly weds with a heartfelt toast. Photographed by Balboa Photography, this wedding was an absolute joy for everyone in attendance.
Personally, I LOVE all the little touches, the chandelier, the suit case for cards, the popcorn filled jars, the burlap welcome banner, the personalized “I Do” wine bottles…and of course, all the beautiful lace!
