Looking For Shower or Wedding Theme Inspiration? How About An Alice in Wonderland Tea Party?

I LOVE the idea of afternoon tea for a shower or even an intimate wedding, especially if you’re trying to save money. And an Alice in Wonderland styled tea party sounds pretty darn fun to me. Of course, you want to make sure you don’t go overboard and have it turn out cheesy looking, which could easily happen without too much effort.

So to make sure that doesn’t happen, here’s a beautifully classy example for you to follow. Styled by Kristen Hansen, event planner for Flawless Fetes and photographed by Kristen Arrojo Gnage of aka photographs, this jewel of a shoot is definitely eye catching and wonderfully creative with ideas like candles balancing on the bases of upside down wine glasses, rabbit napkin folds and tissue paper flowers which brought the whole table scape together.

The costumes were provided by Misred Clothing, an independent vintage clothing store in St. Petersburg, FL. And Alice’s skirt and tulle headband were custom made by Kristen the photographer. The venue is a small city park with charming little pathways and the cutest pond. Enjoy!
