Today's wedding comes to us from Boscobel, an amazing colonial estate and gardens venue in Garrison, New York. Seriously, there are so many beautiful things about this property I don't even know where to begin. Except to say, if you are looking for a venue in New York and have the means, you must put this place on your short list. It's beautiful! And photographer Kim Coccagnia of Photography by Kimberly Coccagnia did a lovely job of capturing Jessica and Andrew and their big day. I just LOVE the silly, sweet and laughing looks they share in so many images. And OH-MY, I have to mention Jessica's Click Here to Read More

If you're watching your weight and cholesterol, (which we should all be doing to some degree), you may not want to try this recipe fully loaded...or maybe just make a batch once in a VERY blue moon. These babies are sinful! And unfortunately, though we tried to make them using olive oil, they need to be made with the fat of butter so the gooey goodness will stick together.
It's okay though, you can lighten it up by adding less butter and cheese and like I said, don't make it very often ;-)
Makes about 3 servings
INGREDIENTS
1 pound baby potatoes, scrubbed and cut in half

Kelly and Jesse's cozy and romantic southern Maryland engagement session incorporated all of the things that are so special in their relationship; a beautiful farm, their handsome dog Ninja and their love for one another. Simplicity at it's finest and might I add...Ninja is really one fantastic looking dog!
Congratulations on your engagement Kelly and Jesse and thanks for sharing your beautiful images with us!

Sometimes when I receive a wedding or styled shoot like the one I'm featuring today, I want to go back in time and re-do my entire wedding based on the beautiful details and design they've put together. I know, I say this a couple times a year, but I mean it as the highest compliment. Believe me, it's hard not to fall in love with all the pretty when I see so many drool worthy weddings and shoots everyday. And clearly this styled shoot is no exception.
The goal with today's styled shoot was to produce a modern, shabby-chic style with vintage elements and boy did they do it well!

Happy Monday everyone! Today I have a beautiful and brightly colored Fort Lauderdale beach wedding for you. These vibrant pinks, oranges and yellows of the bridesmaid's dresses, programs, flowers, groomsmen's ties, handkerchiefs and all the lovely linens and decor at the Pelican Grand Beach reception are a perfect reflection of Kristen and Keith's happy love for each other. Congratulations you two, thanks for sharing your big day with us!

Fab You Bliss is a place of happy inspiration. But occasionally it's important to mention certain not-so-happy current events, especially when such happenings have directly affected an area that is being featured here. Like much of the Northeast Coast, Coney Island was greatly affected by Super Storm Sandy. And while the evening and Internet news might not be completely focused on the devastation anymore, there's still a lot of work to fully recover. So I just wanted to mention that those of us not directly affected ARE still thinking about you and donating money and/or time. We will not forget.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of my American friends! Last year I featured a "things I'm thankful" post on Thanksgiving and it was such a nice thing, I decided to do another this year. The list is short, but it's not quantity, it's quality...right?
So here we go...
1. I am and will be forever thankful to those of you who've made this blog a daily stopping place. This year has been incredibly successful, WAY beyond what I thought it would be, and I have you to thank for it. I love you all!
2. I'm glad to be as healthy as I am and I'm thankful my entire family is as well.
3. I am
I love it when I have the opportunity to feature weddings where every detail has a purpose and they all come together in a beautiful theme. Alicia and Ben's wedding theme was centered around literature with many classic novels dispersed throughout the venue and reception area.
As beautiful as their theme was though, the most important aspect of their wedding was the family element revolving around their son, Khonrad. This day was not just about Alicia and Ben. To the newlyweds, it was just as important to celebrate their new family coming together as a whole. One of the favorite details
Stripes are probably one of my all-time favorite patterns. Don't you think they're so fabulous? And these days we're even seeing mixes of stripes, miss-matching colors and directions, which is, (in my opinion), just fantastic!
So here are some gorgeous and fun ideas for how to style your own outfits with classy and sassy stripes.

Christian and his lovely bride Stephanie wrote each sentimental detail of their storybook wedding. From the bridal party preparation through the beautiful exchange of vows, happy tears were flowing all day long.
Stephanie's mother re-created this elegant gown from her very own wedding dress. They also had two fabric hearts from shirts of their late Grandfathers sewn into the dress at the hem. Their venue, Chapel in the Pines, was built for the venue owner’s wife as a 30th Wedding Anniversary site to renew their vows. Situated in the rural community of Sycamore, IL, Christian and Stephanie’s

Jessica and Steve met in Las Vegas while she was a dancer and he a chef. They decided to get married in Siesta Key at a private residence right by the beach. Photographed by Ware House Studios on a beautiful day in November, Jessica and Steve's intimate and gorgeous wedding was everything they hoped it would be. PS...I love the Polaroid table numbers!
