If you don’t believe a dog can REALLY be part of a family, stop reading NOW!
It is our fur baby’s 2nd birthday today and I’m feeling very sentimental and nostalgic. If you follow me on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & even Pinterest, you’ll have seen hundreds of pictures of our crazy Pupp-Awg Quinley over the past two years. And if you’ve actually met her…you’ll know she’s just as adorable and charismatic in person. I make no secret that The Hubby and I cannot have children of our own, (you can read that story here), so when we say Quinley is our child, in our eyes she really is. You can go ahead and make fun of us or snicker and say dogs are just pets and nothing more. But we will happily disagree.
(This is Quinley at 15 weeks…such a cute puppy!)
Quinley has brought more joy to our life than either of us ever could have imagined. She is sweet and smart and loving…yet just as any child she is stubborn and naughty and doesn’t always listen. Nevertheless, she is our heart.
(Here’s Quinely around her first birthday)
We, (mainly me), hate leaving her at home or in the car for any length of time, even if it is cool enough to leave her in the car. And if by chance either of those two has to happen, she always gets a new toy out of it.
Yes, she’s definitely spoiled and both The Hubby and I would love to have her luxurious life of lots of love and leisure. But we are also beyond thrilled to provide it for her.
(And here she is this morning on her 2nd birthday. Can you tell she’s thrilled to be wearing this hat? )
So HAPPY birthday baby girl. Your mommy and daddy are so happy you came into our life 🙂
Thanks for stopping by!
