Continuing on with my countdown to the holidays, this week I thought I’d share some fab DIY holiday decor posts from several awesome sites around “De Ole Bloggosphere”.
To make a wreath like the one below wouldn’t be that hard. Most craft supply stores sell pre-made vine wreaths, grape vines, baby pine cones, plastic apples and berries in their holiday decor area. And you could make or buy stars pretty much anywhere as well. I think I’m going to make one of these myself 😉
The Bungalow Blog has a cute fireplace mantel display with this framed decoupaged sheet music from an old hymnal and sparkly letters. Again, the supplies needed to make this can all be purchased from any craft supply store. So go get creative!
In keeping with the holiday message DIY, this Noel display as shown by Sand and Sisal is such an easy DIY. Blogger Kim Wilson has a great tutorial on how to make this display so be sure to check it out.
This cute star can easily be accomplished. If you can’t find a pre-made wire star to buy, simply shape one using two wire coat hangers, one large one on the outside and a smaller inside one. Then simply string some lights and decorative material to bind the two stars together and form a pretty decorative piece like this. Hang with a rope like shown or get creative with something else.

These little creative stars made by Happy Hooligans are probably the easiest DIY in this post. Simply take 4 evenly sized sticks and wrap them with some colorful raffia together in the shape of a star, done. Be sure to check out Happy Hooligans site though for the specifics on the DIY.
Ah, this next one is a favorite of mine because I love me some decorative pillows! Again this project can be accomplished without breaking a sweat, so what are you waiting for? Dear Lillie has the tutorial on her site so be sure to check it out.
And there you have it, some more DIY holiday inspiration to get you excited for the coming season.
Thanks for stopping by!
