Fab You Bliss’s Top 10 Weddings of 2012

How do you wrap up an entire year of beautiful weddings into one post of 10 favorites? It’s next to impossible! I have way too many favorites to list down to just 10, so let’s just say this list is a sampling…10 weddings that represent many, many more that are in the archives. So don’t be shy, dig around in the past posts if you like. Find your own favorites. For now, here’s just a peek at the past amazing year!

# 10. Besides being beautifully put together, this locally sustained wedding makes the top 10 because anything planned with such foresight is just downright Fabulous!

# 9. The bridesmaids dresses in this sunny yellow wedding are just one of the unique and special touches this bride and groom put into their Minnesota lake house soiree.

# 8. This bride’s amazing gown was one of the most commented on dresses on Fab You Bliss’s Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. And rightfully so as it is stunning!

# 7. Aren’t these two little flower girls the cutest? Cassie and Troy’s wine and roses wedding made it into the top 10 because their are so many great candid shots like this one.

# 6. This Antigua wedding was so unique I felt it had to be split into two posts. Click through to see part 1, then follow through to see part 2. I love the bride’s dress and shoes and the reception setup. The entire wedding is just beautiful!

# 5. Sometimes a venue comes along that is so beautiful, not much needs to be done to decorate. Such was the case in this beautiful DIY lakeside forest wedding.

# 4. Isn’t this sunset amazing? The rest of this lovely Southern wedding is as well!

# 3. This all American red, white and blue wedding was just fun all around!

# 2. Besides the colors of this beautiful Biltmore Estate wedding being my favorite right now, the wedding itself and the lovely photography is pretty sensational as well.

# 1. And finally…this elegant Alabama private residence wedding was just absolutely gorgeous with all the lovely flowers and arches and tents and beautiful decor everywhere…it was like a beautiful wedding feast for the eyes.

And there you have it. A sampling of some of this years favorites. Like I said, feel free to dig around and see what else is in the archives and choose your own favorites. There are plenty to see!

A Gorgeous Modern Loft, One Adorable Expectant Bride + Add in a Little Rain = The Perfect Brooklyn Wedding

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. We still have one more big day coming up, so let’s make it a great one. 2013 here we come! Actually…The Hubby and I have TWO more big days coming up. Yup…Saturday is our 5 year anniversary…woohoo!!! I still love that we got married between the holidays. Some people tried to talk us out of it, but if you love this time of year as much as we do…I highly recommend planning a holiday wedding. It is magical!

Now on to today’s wedding. A backup plan is a must when planning an outdoor wedding. Luckily Holly and Todd booked the gorgeous DUMBO Loft in Brooklyn for their reception which, because of the rain, was used as their ceremony location as well. Backup plan worked!

Since the bride and groom were expecting, they wanted a simple, doable, modern wedding and even the rain couldn’t ruin their beautiful day! Photographed by Sarah Tew Photography with planning by loli events, Holly and Todd’s lovely wedding was everything they hoped it would be.
