Five years ago today...I shared these words with my best friend, the love of my life and the person I'm thrilled to journey with through the rest of our days.
Since these are such a huge part of our marriage...I thought I post our wedding vows today.
Happy Anniversary baby!!!
Thanks for stopping by!
Dannielle & Justin met in College where their great friendship turned into true love! This Texas bride wanted to bring in some elements from home as well as have an off beat modern twist. The awesomely unique florals were the highlight of the decor. And the home made candy bar featuring Texas Trash and other authentic traditional Texan caddies were a hit! Held at Aston Oaks in Ohio and photographed by Mandy Paige Photography, Dannielle and Justin's special day was absolutely perfect and beautiful in every way!

# 10. I wrote this post to remind all of us that just because it's cold out, we don't need to put away the pretty. And it turned out to be one of my favorite posts of the year.
# 9. Scarves are one of my favorite accessories. So it should be no surprise that this post, Scarves, Scarves, Scarves…Oh Heavenly Scarves! made it into the top 10 fashion posts of the year.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. We still have one more big day coming up, so let's make it a great one. 2013 here we come! Actually...The Hubby and I have TWO more big days coming up. Yup...Saturday is our 5 year anniversary...woohoo!!! I still love that we got married between the holidays. Some people tried to talk us out of it, but if you love this time of year as much as we do...I highly recommend planning a holiday wedding. It is magical!
Now on to today's wedding. A backup plan is a must when planning an outdoor wedding. Luckily Holly and Todd booked the gorgeous DUMBO Loft in
I have some beautiful red inspiration for you on this happy Christmas Eve! I just adore this styled shoot from Courtney McManaway Photography. Courtney sent it over a while ago, but I've been saving it for today because I thought it would be perfect for the holiday. There are some great ideas here for anyone looking to have a holiday wedding. And of course the photography is brilliant as well.
Here are some words from the photographer:
As fairy tales have become more and more current with TV, movies, and plays, I was inspired to create a shoot in the style of Red Riding Hood. It was
Today, I have some lovely purple and gold table designs to share with you. Designed to showcase as inspiration for prospective clients, April Hollar of April Chantel Wedding & Event Company teamed up with Esvy Photography and floral designer Violet And Verde to bring us these oh-so pretty settings.
The lavender and gold palette speaks to a bride who craves a contemporary yet romantic look. And the cut crystal bowls with antique gold pedestals highlight the florals and unique custom linen in a gorgeous way. By choosing soft pinks, lavender and cream they were able to evoke an amorous
Starting today and sprinkled throughout the remainder of 2012, I'll be posting my "Top 10s" for the various categories I typically feature. Today I'm starting with styled shoots.
It isn't easy picking favorites. I really would love to re-feature them all. But these 10 had a special something that I'm sure you'll appreciate as well.

# 9. Inspired By That Famous Kiss, a Sweet
Denise and Zach had a whirlwind romance from meeting to engagement to wedding! They met at an Australia Day BBQ on January 28, 2012, although they were acquainted and in fact had noticed each other several times before. They started dating in February, got engaged in April and were married by August. Whew...that's a whirlwind for sure! But when you know, you know!
Their lovely wedding was almost entirely DIY with everyone involved devoting whatever they could to make the day as beautiful as it was. Denise's hair, makeup and nails were done with the help of the bridesmaids and the table cloths
I get cold really easy. Burrrrr...I think a lot of women do. And I was thinking the other day that it's really hard to look cute when you're cold. Ahh...but if you're wearing anything like the outfits below, you'll be nice and cozy and cute as can be in any one of them. So...use them for inspiration this winter and you'll always be oh-so cozy and fab!
I love this navy sweater with suede pockets. Combine with the cream dress-shirt style dress and brown boots and this outfit becomes a cozy stunner for when you want to feel comfy and look cute too!

Ahhh...a mix of colors you
Lisa and Justin's lovely Illinois engagement session photographed at Morton Arboretum by Just Love Me {Photography + Design} is a perfect way to start out the week. The beautiful trees and gorgeous landscape make for an amazing backdrop for their story to be told. Below is the surprise engagement story that Justin planned and saw through as told by Lisa herself. Enjoy!
From the bride to be:
Coffee has always meant a lot to us because in college, late night coffee dates were some of the only times we saw each other. Justin pulled together the proposal two days before doing it. I just
