Six years ago when The Hubby and I took our engagement photographs we didn’t have our puppy Quinley. And so even though I love our engagement images, it feels like there’s a piece of us missing given she’s not in them. Because of this, I HIGHLY recommend to any couple who has a dog, (or other pet you love), to include them in your engagement session. Today’s couple Devon and Doug did just that by including their lovable yellow lab Riley Jane in their session seen here. And aren’t they all just the cutest? We included our sweet Jill in ours because she was getting older and we knew those might be our last photos with her. I’m glad we did because she passed away less than 8 months later.

I was getting your pictures ready for the post last night and my dog Quinley saw Riley’s image on my screen and she practically jumped through to try to get her. Awww! This is making me wish I’d had engagement shots done with my cat. (seriously.) So cute!
