Today’s inspiration shoot was designed around a charming refurbished firehouse located in Newberry, SC. Constructed in the late 1800’s and expanded during the Great Depression to house the city’s fire, police, dispatch and jail, the Newberry Firehouse Conference Center offers 21st Century amenities with the flavor of days gone by.
Today’s featured couple are Megan and Matt Cook, married four years ago, but you’ll see their ‘spark’ for each other is still going strong. This lead the team to refer to the shoot as “Burning Love”. Complimenting the venue’s charm and history, they went for a very classic American theme of red, white and blue. Custom printed invitations, menu cards and the candy bar, (notice the hot tamales), added a bit of whimsy and the vivid colors used in the table décor were amazing. The styles worn by Megan and Matt were in keeping with the classic modern theme. Don’t you just love the ruffle detail on her Casablanca gown? And to top everything off, the local police chief allowed use of a 1912 fire truck for the bride and groom getaway pictures! There was a whole crew of amazing professionals who helped put together this fantastic shoot. Their credits and contact information are listed at the bottom of the post. Enjoy!

Couple of things:
1. I would totally marry a firefighter. Maybe next time.
2. “Burning Love” would also be a great title for a STD inspo shoot. HA!
