A DIY country garden party is what Cassie and Ethan had planned for their sweet and special backyard nuptials. Cassie executed her vision by incorporating gorgeous fresh wildflowers (which they bought and arranged themselves), a vintage inspired floral fabric runner and photo booth backdrop, daisy embellished ribbon streamers for the archway where they exchanged their vows, and natural wood chairs and frame accents.
Photographed by Norton Photography, Cassie and Ethan’s wedding day was warm, gorgeous, and filled with laughter and an incredible spirit of celebration.
And here’s a little Q & A with the bride and groom.
What was your favorite part of the day?
“Favorite memory is taking a quick 10 minutes inside alone as a couple just after we said I do!”
As far as music goes, what were your thoughts?
“We thought about all of our guest young and old and included everyone’s type of music. Anything with a good beat or great feelings. We started with slower songs for guests arrivals and picked it up a little with classic hit songs after we said I do. Then threw on younger fresh dancing music at the end of the night.”
What sort of advice do you have for other couples and their big day?
“Don’t plan too much to do that day to keep you from enjoying your love! People will understand when they see you guys sneaking off to share hugs and kisses.”
