Confession…I may get some hate mail for this post. But just so you know, I’m not suggesting we revert back to a 1950’s way of thinking. Not at all…

I’m simply saying we should make the effort, (before, during & long after the wedding), to not only look good for ourselves, but for our significant other as well.
It’s common after some time in a relationship to forget about looking our best. You know what I’m talking about, right? Those times where you live in the same pair of sweats or jeans for days on end. Or where your hair is so untidy you scare yourself by catching a glimpse of your reflection. Or maybe those days where you don’t have anywhere to be and you haven’t showered simply because it feels so good not to have to BE anywhere. Believe me, I know…I’m guilty of doing these things as well.
But here’s the thing, even though we all have days where we just want to be in sweats or PJs, (and that’s fine in moments too), it’s important to also let our partner know we’re still going to care about how we look.
Don’t let your style stop at the wedding. Like most things in life, its all about finding the right balance. Let’s not forget that even though our partners love us for who we are, not what we look like, it never hurts to show them we care by looking the best we can for them as well.
Shown above are a selection of images with style to help you do just that. Are you a jeans kind of girl? Well take some tips from these pics and add some pumps or lace or fab accessories to spruce up your regular jeans. Are you a dress kind of girl? Yeah, me too! And so there are plenty of dress/style combos here to gain inspiration from as well.
Thanks for stopping by!
