Even though the temperature was in the teens during Megan and Doug’s Illinois wedding, they were one of those couples who didn’t care a bit about the weather. They were simply happy to be marrying each other. In fact, they were so easy going they didn’t even blink an eye when photographer Jenelle from Jenelle Kappe Photography proposed they walk out into the snow to shoot portraits on such a cold day!
Despite the cold, their wedding was gorgeous, meaningful, and incredibly intimate. Doug’s two daughters took place in the ceremony and held their own in the wedding party. And the officiant was Megan’s sister’s boyfriend. Let’s not forget to mention the gorgeous bright colored flowers that lent such a lovely contrast to the stark white snowy surrounding.
