Christina and Josh were already married, but they planned a big vow renewal for all of their friends and family to come together to celebrate their union. Photographed by jen + ashley photography, they chose the gorgeous Kingsmill Resort in historic Williamsburg, Virginia. With the James River as their backdrop, they promised, (again), to love and cherish each other for the rest of their lives and sealed it with a high five and a kiss, which you can see in the beautiful film of their wedding below!
Christina wanted each of her bridesmaids to feel like themselves, so with a blush and neutral color palette in mind, she gave them free reign to pick a dress of their choosing, and they all came together perfectly. Tying in the colors of the cherry blossom trees on the grounds, their gorgeous peony filled bouquets played perfectly off of their dresses. With her laid back, gorgeous hair and makeup, and her trusty pair of rainbow flip-flops under her dress (she wanted to go barefoot but it had rained the entire day before), Christina was the epitome of casual elegance. Wanting everything to feel refined yet un-fussy, she carried that feel into the reception space, where the ballroom affair was softened by pale pinks, champagnes and twinkle lights strung through trees. With a reception full of romance, happy tears, and their adorable three month old daughter Avery, this was definitely the wedding of their dreams!
