I love the idea of taking something special, like an heirloom locket, or a piece of lace from your grandmother’s wedding gown, or in the case of today’s inspiration shoot…a colorful bow-tie…and making that item the theme that carries through a wedding in ever so subtle ways.
So that’s exactly what event planner Krystle Peskie from Krystle Whitney Events and photographer Megan Flanagan from Break The Mold Photo did with today’s groom’s vintage bow-tie. Notice the subtle nods to the tie here and there and how the colors of it are softly incorporated into everything else as well. In addition, this bubbly, fun and bright affair had an abundance of giggles and playfulness throughout the shoot which added another element of lightness to the theme.
All in all there are some really fun items of inspiration here of which I hope you enjoy. Bravo to the entire team of vendors who helped put this wonderful shoot together!
