Who says you have to wear white on your wedding day? Why not pick your favorite color and style of dress and run with it? This is especially true if you’re looking to have a green wedding like today’s bride and groom chose to do.
Bre and Jonathan are an Air Force couple in the process of potentially being deployed again. So their wish was for an intimate wedding to seal their love. They wanted to be surrounded by their closest of friends, keep it local, and incorporate all of the things they hold dear…the rural beauty of Northern California, bold colors, an eclectic vibe, tattoos and Harley’s…of course.
So with a short time frame and a budget of two thousand dollars, the gals at Eco Chic Styled Celebrations rallied the community to support the military through this amazing couple. The venue, Soul Food Farms is a working organic chicken farm with a gorgeously renovated farmhouse and serene olive grove that absolutely fit the bill. The ceremony took place under the shade of an old olive tree and the hors d’oeuvre reception was held just a few steps away under a majestic oak.
With mismatched china and beautiful greenery from local floral designer Boucher Plants, the table was set along with vintage silverware and favors – hand potted succulents in thrift store tea cups. Place settings were marked with homemade Challah bread loaves from Denverton Baking Company and dessert was provided by Traylor Made Treats, divine French macarons custom colored for the event.
