In case you didn’t know, Bastille Day is French National Day, which is on July 14th each year. In France, it is formally called La Fête Nationale. The day symbolizes the ending of a French Revolution and the modern nation’s success over the previous monarchy. Celebrations are held all over France. The oldest and largest regular military parade in Europe is held on the morning of July 14th, on Champs-Élysées avenue in Paris in front of the President of the Republic, French officials and foreign guests.
While I am not French, Paris is where my husband and I got engaged so I feel a sort of kinship with the country. So when Fab You Bliss partner One Kings Lane sent us the ‘All Things French’ sale they’re running from July 12, 2013 through July 17, 2013, we thought it would be perfect to announce today!
