This feature was affectionately named the Sea Glass and Mist Wedding Inspiration Shoot by its creators. And as you’ll see, the name is perfect indeed.
Concept designer and photographer Chelsea LaVere of Bit of Ivory Photography worked with J. Splendid Events and Katy Blevins of Orchestrated Shoots, (as well as other talented vendors listed below), to create this unique New England wedding inspiration with the region’s rich seafaring history in mind.
Today is part one of this fantastic shoot, tomorrow you’ll get to see part two. In today’s feature, the bride and her groom, (the sea captain), have an intimate wedding before he heads off to sea for an unknown duration of work. The mood is happy, yet a bit somber as the couple knows not when they’ll see each other again. Nevertheless the ambiance is filled with love and lots of creative details.
I’m loving the gorgeous nautical paper designs by Bottle and Cork Designs. And watch out if you’re hungry, these amazing deserts from Zest Fresh Pastry will make your mouth water. But let’s talk about the unique drift wood name card, and how about the groom’s inventive boutonniere? Although I think the air plant bouquets and the bride’s sea mist green gown are my favorites. Thank you Chelsea and team for sharing this wonderful shoot. I can’t wait to share part two tomorrow!
