I’m so excited to share this Eco chic apple orchard bridal gown shoot featuring Celia Grace gowns and accessories photographed by Michelle Girard Photography.
To create the look they were going for, they curated vintage-chic props such as a picnic basket, retro cameras, old lanterns and a beautiful antique chair. Together with the lovely gowns and accessories and fabulous makeup by Karrie Welch, the team was able to create this incredible light and airy spring time lookbook. Karrie used Fortunate Face Mineral makeup with crushed pearl, Mica, and Kaolin clay which are soothing and protective to skin, yet water and sweat proof. This makeup feels gloriously light – like bare skin – and is 100% handmade and natural with no artificial fragrances or dyes.

When you buy a Celia Grace gown or accessory, you’re not only getting exquisite, flattering and decadent pieces to wear, each gown has a story behind it that is just as beautiful as the dress itself. From the heirloom eco silk and empowering work conditions for seamstresses, to a water filtration system donated to the needy with each dress, Celia Grace offers a more meaningful purchased gown that you can truly feel good about.
As mentioned, each gown has a name and story behind it. Last month we featured the Eleanor gown, named after Eleanor Roosevelt. In today’s shoot we have a few more. First there’s the the Marie gown, a tiered lace gown inspired by Marie Curie, a doctor and scientist before her time and the first woman to earn the Nobel Prize. Next, the long gown with the thin straps is named the Rachel in honor of Rachel Carson, an amazing environmentalist.
The short dress is a new style that doesn’t have a name yet. Today we’d like to invite you to help us name it. If you’d like to possibly be the one to come up with the name, please write in the comments below the name of a “famous” woman who inspires you and why. For example, my pick would be Diana, Princess of Wales for her legacy of charm and humanitarianism.
Thanks for stopping by!

Hey friends – help us name one of the lovely @_CeliaGrace gowns featured in today’s post by @michelle_girard http://t.co/EuLoX3Atco
So cute! Personally I would name the dress ‘Grace’ after Grace Kelly. The dress is sweet, charming, and classy which Grace Kelly was.
Awe, Rhonda…that’s awesome! I Love that name too!!
Gorgeous gowns and equally gorgeous images! That short dress is darling!
So absolutely sweet!
What a gorgeous shoot – and how amazing that we get to submit gown ideas! My name would be Lady Bird after Lady Bird Johnson who did the flower beautification project. She cleaned and prettied up DC and took it nationwide. Whenever I see flowers along a highway I think of her!
I adore orchards, and this session is incredible!
So far the names liked 4 today’s dress naming are Diana, Lady Bird & Grace. Come see 2day’s post & suggest ur choice! http://t.co/EuLoX3Atco
Very charming! Simplistic, but beautiful! The dresses are very fitting for an outdoor wedding!
What an amazingly fresh-looking shoot! My choice of name for the gown would be “Jane” after Jane Goodall who I find incredibly inspirational in having dedicated her life to the cause of animal welfare and conservation.
What a beautiful shoot and brilliant idea! I love the names so far – love Sara’s idea.. I never knew all those flowers and pretty landscapes in DC were because of Lady Bird!
Have you submitted your idea for a dress name on @FabYouBliss yet? I did! http://t.co/g6aEqfp4eG
