Who doesn’t absolutely love the vibrant colours of autumn? I am so in awe when the trees are all shades of red, orange and yellow. On a recent trip to Hoboken, NJ, the temperature had dropped, and when I thought about what to wear for the day I instantly gravitated towards layering. Lately I love the look of a cozy knit sweater over a crisp button-up, giving an outfit a classic feel with a comfortable twist. Layers are perfect for transitioning from fall into winter, keeping you warm when walking outside, but also easy to change for the office or a coffee date when the temperature is much cozier inside.
I also have an undeniable love for neutrals — a girl can never go wrong with a beige wool coat, a closet staple this year for every fashionista. I paired my favourite classic chambray underneath a horizontal-striped sweater, bringing in a subtle pattern to break up the neutral colours. To add a little bit of an edge, I wore my favourite leather leggings and black booties. Swipe on a bold shade of red lipstick, grab your sunnies, and you have a cozy, classic look for Fall!
