Today’s bride Amy is a huge fan of Jane Austen and anything tea party. In addition, the couple together share a great fondness for reading and vintage wares. So a vintage tea party wedding seemed absolutely perfect. And the couple’s entire family came together in acquiring and incorporating as many family treasures as possible to help to create this one of a kind look.
“Personalization was key in the planning of our wedding”, said Amy. “And with the help of family and friends, we were able to bring together original pieces and details from different homes to create the unique look we were going for.”
With all the family organization, Amy and DJ were able to fill a hutch with multiple generations of china and featured wedding photographs from many generations too. Amy’s grandfather performed the ceremony and the bride was thrilled to discover her mother had saved her own wedding necklace to give to Amy to wear on her big day as well. But one of the best moments for Amy was when DJ surprised her with a precious performance of “If” by Bread that she will forever remember. And with gorgeous photography by Photo Love, Amy and DJ’s day couldn’t have been more perfect.
