Sarah and Matt are both working actors who call New York city home. Their romance started as a close friendship during grad school at the Manhattan School of Music. After meeting they became inseparable, sharing the stage together and growing their friendship. But soon their friendship blossomed into love and before too long Matt was down on one knee asking Sarah to marry him.
For their wedding they wanted every detail to have meaning, whether to celebrate the life of a family member unexpectedly lost, or to pay tribute to Sarah and Matt’s zest for life and their love for each other.
Included in such meaningful details was Sarah’s bouquet, which was made using the same type of flowers often given to her by Matt. In fact, he gave her a similar bouquet when he proposed. And a piece of Sarah’s mother’s wedding dress was tied around the bouquet as well. How special is that?
Originally from Texas, Matt represented his home state with tiny cowboy hats to accompany the escort cards. And as die-hard Redskins and Cowboys fans, (NFC East rivals!), the couple also paid tribute to their favorite teams with fun details throughout their day.
