A Pulled From The Past Wedding at Green Leafe Cafe

I love it when couples pull from the past to bring their wedding to life. Kevin and I did this for our wedding. One of our more special details were the table numbers. Each table was named for a place that was meaningful to us. And at the center of the table was a handmade postcard that shared with our guests what we loved about the place. I even went so far as to create a special red inked “mailed” stamp to make it look like the postcard was actually sent through the mail.

Today’s bride and groom pulled from their past as well and planned a day that was truly unique to them. Allison and Mike were married at Wren Chapel on the campus of their Alma Mater, William and Mary. And they rented out their favorite college haunt to create their perfect wedding at Green Leafe Cafe. The entire day was thoughtful, simple, and sweet.

With both the bride’s gown and groom’s suit by J.Crew, Allison also wore lace Toms shoes and carried the most magnificent bouquet of peonies, roses and lush leafy greens wrapped with delicate lace. And just look at these lovely announcements created by the bride as well. There were also green beer mugs given to each guest as a wedding favor and let’s not forget the fantastic naked cake by Milk Bar. To top it off, these gorgeous images provided by Lauryn Galloway Photography absolutely seal the sweet wedding deal.
