Happy New Year friends!
After a few days off to celebrate the holiday and do some blog housekeeping, it feels great to be back with this beautiful Lilac, Pink and Silver San Francisco wedding by U Me Us Studios. And as the first lovely post of the new year, it sure is a pretty one.
Jenny and Jason didn’t really plan to have a theme, except maybe an east meets west idea where they incorporated some Chinese traditions, (the tea ceremony, Jenny’s traditional Chinese dress, and the dragon dance), with modern western ones, (the white dress, an outdoor ceremony and Jenny really wanted her father to walk her down the aisle.
Jenny also said, “I always envisioned a simple and elegant wedding. I knew the colors would be lilac, pink and silver, and when it came to making it happen, it all came together easy and perfectly.”

When asked if she had any tips for future brides, Jenny said:
“Every bride will tell you this and maybe you won’t even take this to heart until after the wedding but .. ENJOY YOUR WEDDING DAY. You have worked so hard to plan everything out and it is for both you and your husband. Enjoy it together. Because trust me, it will go by so fast! Take all the pictures you want to take (make a photo list!!). BE HAPPY. Don’t stress out. Everything will fall into place. Make an emergency kit. Pack snacks. Make copies of your timeline/seating chart/anything you feel is important for your right hand person to have on hand, even if you do have a wedding planner. Appreciate and thank the people who are there with you on that day.”
Thanks for stopping by!
