Having lived in the mountains of Lake Tahoe for 10 years, I really miss snowy winters. So when this snow filled winter fashion shoot from Photos by Sarah Beth landed in my in-box, I was beyond delighted to virtually feel snow again!
There’s not much need for snow boots or even scarves, (especially right now), where I live in Southern California. But for those of your who do live in the snow, or you lucky gals who may be going to the snow soon, Sarah’s model Steff shows off some really cute wardrobe ideas.
Pair some chunky black snow boots with black tights and a white turtle neck and you have the great base for some fun combinations. Then throw on a comfy gray hooded cable knit sweater and look how cute it looks.
If you’re headed off to skate or ski slip on a black puffer jacket, a black chunky infinity scarf and top the look off with a bright red fleece headband to keep your ears warm and accentuate your pretty face!
But my favorite look, (as well as the Sarah the photographer’s), is when Steff slipped on her grandmother’s cream hooded cape. I love it!
While these are not actual places where Steff purchased her clothing, here are some links where you can get some similar items. But, if you love the two above sweater capes as much as I do, the best place to find similar items is a thrift store.
Black tights: H&M // White Turtlenck: Zara // Gray Sweater: Ebay // Flared Puffer Jacket: Zara // Red Fleece Headband: Nordstrom // Cream Hooded Shawl Cape: Ebay or for a pricier version without a hood Calypso
