Choosing to have a “Green” or ethical wedding is a deeply personal choice. Every bride has her own style and desires, so what may make sense and be the most delightful idea for one person, may not have the same allure for another.
Last week, Green & Ethical Weddings Contributor Marcie Muehlke of Celia Grace Bridal, wrote an informative piece outlining what an ethical wedding dress means. It’s a post I think all brides should read. So when Wish Photography sent over this enchanting shoot featuring a vintage gown, I thought I’d take the opportunity to share how you too can create an exquisite green wedding with a sentimental vintage gown.
One of the greenest, (and most sentimental), ways to have an Eco-conscious element to your wedding is to wear a gown handed down from a family member. Today’s future bride Natalie is modeling the dress her mother wore as her going away dress on her wedding day, a dress Natalie plans to wear in her upcoming intimate wedding. And oh-how-perfectly it suits her!
To me, I love this kind of trend. It’s good for the environment and special for the bride and it creates a uniqueness that can’t be matched.
