With winter hopefully winding down in most parts of the country, (fingers crossed), the time to feature winter wedding ideas is coming to a close as well. So when Kaci Lee Muller from Just Delightful Events sent over this fun and flirty floral crown winter wedding inspiration, we knew we had to make room for it.
For brides in the Midwest or Northeast, winter weddings can be daunting. So today’s design team wanted to showcase some fun ideas and outfits for how to play with your own winter wonderland soiree. From Grand Rapids, Michigan where winter takes up half of the year, Kaci and photographer Jennifer Haverkamp, owner of Emily Waid Photography, decided to start at their local, indoors year-round farmer’s market.
With great lighting and modern finishes, the market space was perfect for a boho lace dress that felt casual, yet elegant. And they pulled in some pretty colors with the peach garden roses, Precious Moments purple roses, and added a deep purple/red ranunculus for some drama. A space like this is ideal for a winter bride who’d rather stay inside, (at least in a cute lace dress like this)

The outside shoot was shot as inspiration for the playful bride who wants to venture outside. The printed sweater and gold belt bring nice texture in the white winter snow covered palette. And in both inside and out, no bride this year should be without a floral crown, as it brings much color and welcomed drama to any ensemble.
