I’m a big proponent of creating handcrafted details to use as home decor after your big day!
Not only is doing so a sentimental way to commemorate your wedding, making special items to use as your home decor can be Eco friendly as well.
And that’s definitely something I’m all for.

Even your engagement session can provide fun details to use. I adore the details Bree and Andy used in their engagement session shot by Gabe Aceves Photography as seen on Wedding Chicks a few years back.
I also featured the couple’s 1960’s Brick Rowhouse Makeover a while back. And if you haven’t seen Bree’s Washington DC area wedding site Capitol Romance, hop on over and check it out!
So whether your an experienced crafter or if you’d rather hire someone to make items for you, I think making handcrafted details to use as home decor after your wedding is one awesome way to go!
Thanks for stopping by!
I love the idea of repurposing for your home decor!
Handcrafted details are always a nice touch!
I love this idea. I know we both have a few items from our weddings that we’ve used as home decor. They can also carry through to your anniversary photos!
