The stunning blooms in today’s bold hued autumn art deco wedding with an 80s twist had me at hello!
Danielle and Mitch really wanted a couple of key things for their wedding day. First it was a must for an 80’s cover band, and second they had to have a beautiful venue. With those two items taken care of by hiring Rebel Yell and securing The Terrace Room at Lake Merritt for the location – on top of bringing on Vivian Chen Photography to capture their imagery – their dream wedding was half way complete.

Since it was fall and the venue had a lot of great art deco and ironwork, they thought bold oranges, raspberry, and chocolate seasonal dahlias would be perfect. They had fun making stationary that fit with the art deco styling, but with an 80’s twist. And the tables were each named after their favorite songs from their younger days. Also, as the complete cat lovers they are, they incorporated their cats and cat paraphernalia in the form of postcards and the little figurines on the top of the cake. So cute, don’t you think?
Thanks for stopping by!
