My sister and her husband swear by Chia seeds. They eat them in some form or another for breakfast pretty much every day. And with all the proven health benefits below, I’m thinking Kevin and I will join them in their ritual as well.
Chia Seeds deliver nutrients with very few calories, they’re loaded with antioxidants, almost all the carbohydrates in them are fiber, they’re high in quality protein, the high fiber and protein in Chia Seeds should help you lose weight, they’re High in Omega-3 Fatty Acids, they may improve certain blood markers, helping lower the risk of heart disease and Type 2 Diabetes, they are high in many important bone nutrients, and they can improve exercise performance as much as a sports drink.
With all of this, and how easy it is to incorporate Chia seeds into your diet, maybe you’ll join in too. To help, here’s an easy pudding recipe to get you started.

Mix all ingredients together and pour into mason jars or any airtight container you may have. Refrigerate overnight, then enjoy the next day topped with fruit, nuts or granola…or all three. I added some dried cranberries and granola to mine and it was wonderful!

The Importance of Collaborating & Fostering Community
We often hear about a person, the singular figure behind something big who made it all happen miraculously on their own. But the truth is, it’s never just one person who makes a masterpiece come to life. There’s the painter of course…but there’s also the person who makes the paints and the brushes, the canvas maker and the owner of the studio who sells the finished work…and so on.
Recognizing this, the importance of collaborating and fostering community, that we’re not alone in what we create and that we can make things even more fantastic with the help of others, is something I hope everyone can see as you’ll grow even more once you embrace it.
