Jennifer and Graham’s quaint nautical themed waterside wedding was a sweet and rustic soiree that was nine years in the making. And the couple couldn’t have been more excited for the day!
With Beth Hamilton Photography behind the lens, today’s bride and groom had their ceremony with the water and lighthouse as their backdrop on a gorgeous May afternoon. The details had a rustic inspiration with earthy greens and pinks along with weathered wood that went with the nautical theme of the town. The result…perfectly pretty and oh-so picturesque!

from the bride and groom: “The Outer Banks will always hold a special place in our hearts. We have so many fond memories from trips with our friends and family over the years. When we visited 108 Budleigh in Downtown Manteo, we instantly fell in love with its quaint historic feel. We knew it was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding.
Graham and I are pretty laid back people. We wanted a look that was simple and natural. Amy with Style by Design was so helpful in pulling that look together. To add our own touch, we did DIY some of the items like the corn hole boards and bags, table numbers, signs, and the design of the koozies. Pinterest and Graham’s Photoshop skills definitely came in handy.
All in all it was a perfect evening celebrating with our closest friends and family. We couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect day. We want to thank our family, friends, and awesome vendors for making it all possible! And thanks to Beth we have the most beautiful photographs to remind us of that day!”
Fun fact: They chose “Do You Remember” by Jack Johnson for their recessional song. Jennifer said, “The song came out around the time Graham and I met and I remember him playing it for me. The song talks about meeting in class, which we did. It has always been a favorite.
