For many wedding photographers, creating concepts for inspiration is an absolute labor of love. When I was shooting, I found such projects to be incredibly rewarding, and oh-so uplifting to see my visions and hard work come to life.
Today’s wedding photographer just so happens to feel the same. For a while now, Trina Lewis from Creationsphoto has dreamed of putting together a wedding shoot based on colored wedding dresses to showcase different seasons. So with the help of a few amazing vendors, including two bridal coordinator companies, she was able to bring her concept to life. Luckily two sets of the models are actual couples, so they had no problem cuddling up with one another.
Inspired By Spring/Summer
First up, they created a fairy-tale picnic with a spring/summer feel and a blue and pink wedding dress. And they incorporated pink and blue cookies and cupcakes for the bride and groom to snack on.

Inspired By Autumn
Next was a red wedding dress showcased in a fall country chic look. The couple had two personal ombre mini cakes to snack on while sitting at a table created from wooden work horses and a large piece of weathered wood.

Inspired By Winter
The last shoot features a winter theme with a silver dress. Trina was most excited about this look as it’s rare to see a winter theme done in the summer. And the coordinators had a great time with the decor hanging white balloons and sparkly snowflakes from the trees. The silver chandeliers were a fantastic touch as well.
