I still can’t believe how beautiful all of the weddings we featured this year were. It was hard to narrow down so many, but these ones today are the best of the best for the month of May.
UNIQUE HANDCRAFTED VINTAGE WEDDING
The image below from April and Chris’s unique handcrafted vintage wedding photographed by Stephanie A Smith Photography was one of our most pinned images on Pinterest. No surprise, huh? It’s absolutely lovely, as is the rest of the wedding, which is why we chose it as one of our favorite weddings from May of this year!

NORTH CAROLINA OUTER BANKS DESTINATION WEDDING
Stefanie and Kris planned their North Carolina Outer Banks destination wedding from where they live in Atlanta, but there’s nothing distant about the beauty that transpired throughout their special day. Have a look at those dramatic clouds! And with Melissa Stallings Photography behind the lens, the happy couple was able to capture all the stunning drama permanently. For that, it definitely made our favorites of the year!

Abby and CJ’s natural and romantic Alabama wedding photographed by j.woodbery photography was everything they wanted…a beautiful autumn soiree focused around nature and their love, with classy elements, gorgeous flowers and friends and family who were loads and loads of fun. With these stunning floral creations, there was no question this was one of our favorite weddings of the year.

A WEDDING AT THE HISTORIC RICE MILL BUILDING IN CHARLESTON
Words cannot describe how much we adore the venue for this wedding. In fact, if I were to get married all over again, a wedding at the Historic Rice Mill Building in Charleston would be on my short list of ideal locations for its elegant, comfortable, and unique ambiance. For this and the lovely imagery by Richard Bell Photography, this wedding made it into our favorites of the year as well.

SPARKLY GOLD VINTAGE CALIFORNIA GLAM WEDDING PART ONE
With images by The Weaver House, gorgeous flowers from Fireworks & Perfume, and style for miles and miles, this wedding, which we had to spit into two posts because we loved it so much, one hundred percent makes it into our favorites of the year.
