Andrea and Romain’s wedding was a classic blending of two cultures and countries. The bride is from the United States and the groom is from France. So for their August celebration created by Manette Gracie Events and photographed by Kristen Honeycutt Photography, the couple invited their guests to Farm Kitchen in Poulsbo, Washington, a classic all-American venue with fields of blooming dahlias and an extensive garden of lavender that could easily make one feel as if they are in the French countryside. A perfect blend of America and France.
Andrea’s ladies wore mismatched dresses in an event matching palette of lavender, blush and champagne. Lisa Dupar prepared a creative cocktail reception menu with an American-inspired menu, as well as a French-inspired section. Each combined only the freshest of ingredients including local and organic ingredients.
During his toast, the father of the groom gave an impromptu French lesson, before calling family back home and having the guests send their best wishes in unison via speaker phone.
Elegant florals were prepared by Melanie Benson which played with purple hues. And homemade decor elements included a custom marquee sign, and a directional sign, which declared all of the event’s locations, including Love is Everywhere, complimented their maps and bringing together two world theme.
After dinner, Bamboo Beats kept the party going and the couple danced until their guests cheered them into their vintage British Motor Coach.
Thanks for stopping by!
