The groom Aran is a chef at Saltbox farm, so he and Karoline decided the farm would be the perfect place to be married surrounded by family and friends. The day before the wedding, Karoline and her friends went to a local wildflower farm to pick their own flowers, create her bouquet and the centerpieces. The meal was served family style and prepared by Aran’s fellow chef’s at the farm. All of it was locally sourced and organic, much of it coming from Saltbox Farm itself.
The details reflect Karoline and Aran as a couple. Every detail of their wedding was thoughtful, right down to the poles used to hold up their place cards. The wood they used came from Aran’s grandmother’s property. They used postcards for table numbers from all of the places they have traveled together. The guest book was a cookbook and the invitations and paper were designed by a friend which reflected their answer when asked “what herbs are the two of you”. They answered parsley and thyme. Photographed by Julia Jane Studios Karoline and Aran’s whole day was about love, family and friends and it was perfect!
Thanks for stopping by!
