Chelsea and Bobby met in West Palm Beach during college. Her family lived in the area, his resided in Maryland. They decided to have their wedding in his parents’ backyard, which just so happened to be this stunning waterfront.
Chelsea envisioned a rustic wedding with a classic twist. The bridesmaids wore floor-length navy blue dresses, and the bride wore a lovely lace dress she found at Bellissima Bride in Florida. The men wore navy bow ties and gray suits, and the flower girls were dressed in the prettiest lace dresses. Wooden farmhouse tables were adorned with glass lantern centerpieces filled with candles and moss. And the couple’s dog, Harley, who is a huge part of their lives, served as the cutest ring bearer you’ll ever see! He wore a gold bow tie and accompanied the party for several photographs by Bri Cibene Photography.
There was no shortage of DIY projects. Almost every detail was done by the bride, her family, or friends. From the stationery, (Chelsea was a graphic design major in college), to the many hand-lettered wooden signs, to the centerpieces, everything was stunning. The bride and bridesmaids even took on the flowers. Bouquets, boutonnieres, aisle decor, and even the cross that served as an altar were all done the night before. Handmade chic indeed.
