Lauren and Nick had a beautiful September wedding in Birmingham, Alabama. The ceremony was at Trinity United Methodist Church, and the reception was held at Avondale Villa with photography by j.woodbery photography. Their ‘sunset romance portraits’ were taken at a beautiful overlook of the city skyline where the light was magical!
These two live together in Panama City, Florida, but since Lauren grew up near Birmingham, they decided to have their wedding there. She had a lovely color scheme of blush and pastel accents, and everything was executed perfectly.
Lauren had a wonderful team working for her on her wedding day. Hothouse Design Studio provided stunning florals and Magic Muffins baked a beautiful cake (and some delicious Alabama shaped sugar cookies!). Rogue Tavern, a local restaurant, catered the reception and provided a fantastic menu.
Lauren wore a gorgeous Enzoani gown from Bella Couture, the bridesmaids wore Watters dresses from Bridesmaids Inc, and the guys wore suits from Jos A Bank. Coats Classic Cars provided transportation in their 1950s black Buick, named Jack, and it was truly the best addition we could have asked for during romance photos! II da Maxx was the band at the reception and played a fantastic set! In addition to all of this, Lauren and her mom created many DIY pieces for their big day. There were signs and details placed throughout the reception hall, and guests ate on vintage china that Lauren’s mom had been collecting for over a year! It was so special to see all of their hard work pay off.
Thanks for stopping by!
