After featuring Sense & Sensibility a couple of weeks ago and Emma last week, today is our final Jane Austen inspired wedding style by Terra Cooper Photography. As a voracious reader, I love all Jane Austen books, but Pride & Prejudice is probably my favorite. There’s just something about Elizabeth Bennet’s character that speaks to me. She was so ahead of her time and such a wonderful joy to read!
While the other two shoots took on more of spring and summer vibe, today’s Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice wedding style reflects all the loveliness of fall. Rich reds, oranges, yellows, and browns flow throughout and play off the gray pinstripes worn by the Mr. Darcy model as well as the ivory lace gown on the Elizabeth Bennet model. Golden sunlight peeks out from behind Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy, beautifully lighting up their hair and figures as if the light itself is a figurative representation of their growing love.
Terra wanted to incorporate details inspired by quotes in the book as well as the movie. Obviously, Utah doesn’t have cliffs like in England, but they do have mountains. So the team finished their shoot on the side of a mountain overlooking the city rather than the sea. And I’d say it was a beautiful job well done!
Thanks for stopping by!
