Weddings don’t have to be filled with tons and tons of details to be beautiful. As with anything, beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. So with weddings, sometimes all you need is a stunning beach venue, gorgeous white orchids, your guests dressed in soft colors and you and your sweetie pledging your love to one another under an incredible palm tree at the ocean’s edge.
With E.P. Anderson Photography behind the lens, Nikki and Chad’s Puerto Rico wedding was perfectly simple. There were only 40 guests at the W Retreat and Spa on Vieques Island and all were dressed in soft colors. Nikki wanted a mix of greenery, driftwood, white orchids and gold chairs and plate chargers. Rather than several tables, she wanted one long imperial table. For the flowers, STEM Events used white Phalaenopsis and Cymbidium Orchids as well as a eucalyptus garland that ran along the middle of the table with the driftwood.
The hotel’s Spa Garden was a perfect fit for a 40 person event, quiet and secluded with an ocean view. And after dinner, toasts, and pictures with the sparklers, the entire party went to the W’s Great Room to enjoy an after party. It was a perfectly intimate wedding indeed!
Thanks for stopping by!
