Dogs in weddings are an absolute favorite! And as you can see, Kaci and Donald’s pup does a fabulous job of performing his cute-wedding-dog duties exceptionally well. Love it!
Both the bride and groom are in medical school, so they didn’t have a lot of time to plan a wedding. Nor, as Kaci says in her write-up below, were the decorative details very important to them. We love this too! Because your wedding is just that, your wedding and it will be beautiful and special whatever styles or details you choose.
The bridesmaids and groomsmen both picked their dresses and suits that went along with the colors of navy and gold. Plus with Kaci’s twin sister’s wedding just the year before, Kaci received a lot of help with decisions and advice. And with Courtney Bowlden Photography behind the lens, Kaci and Donald’s day was perfect indeed!
From The Bride Kaci:
“Our wedding day was truly a special day for us both – but we’re even more excited about our future together and I think that’s what we really wanted to celebrate and hopefully articulated in our vows we wrote to each other. Planning a wedding was not my favorite, especially the little details and decorations (simply put, I did not care about the details!) coupled with being so far away and so focused on school. We are pretty lucky to be surrounded by incredibly supportive and generous family members and friends that step up to the plate big time and made that day even more memorable and meaningful for us. There’s still so much we continue to celebrate, but we are so thankful for all the amazing memories/pictures/videos we have to look back on to remember such a wonderful day.”
Thanks for stopping by!
