Wedding planner Roberta Cavaliere chose this venue because she grew up there. She spent summer holidays frolicking through Rocchetta Nervina, a small village with history that dates back to Medieval times.
Located in Liguria, Italy, the area is known for its beautiful location in the mountains. Still, it’s only twenty minutes from the sea. So with the venue in mind, the team chose a color palette of brown, dark and light greens, and ivory to represent the landscape and surrounding vegetation. In keeping with the area, succulents were used to enhance the organic style. The types of succulents used were agave, cactus, and palm. They also incorporated Kokedamas, a Japanese type of planting known as a “mini bonsai.” Simply put, they are plants without vase. Different kinds of ferns and Hellebores were used with Hellebores being the only flowers used in both arrangements and also in the wedding bouquet
In addition, the wedding rings and earrings were handcrafted using leaves and nature as inspiration. And for the table setting, they used the environment’s colors in the China and menus. With Tiziana Gallo behind the lens, this beautiful shoot was brought together with the help of real love, in the form of engaged models Andrea and Roberto.
