I adore brunch weddings. And today’s beautiful blush & lavender elegant brunch wedding is as perfect as can be! The colors and attention to detail are exceptional. And with Vivian Chen Photography behind the lens, the entire day was captured perfectly!
From The Bride:
How We Met:
Kyle and I met at a recruiting event called Club Fair in college! We shared a recruiting table for our respective clubs- he was the president of the Fencing club, and I was the president of the Archery team. The coordinator thought it would be funny for us to share a table instead of getting separate ones (like every other club at the event), and the rest was history! We were friends for a year, where Kyle completely missed my blatant flirting while I was the only consistent, recurring member of the fencing club. The following year we shared a table again for the week-long event, this time on purpose. We went on our first date (Disneyland!) at the end of the week!
The Proposal:
I don’t like surprises. Kyle and I went ring shopping together in I think March 2014, found a ring that I liked, and he bought it. He didn’t propose until September, though! It was driving me crazy that I knew he had the ring and wasn’t doing anything. We ended up having to schedule the proposal to spend time with our combined families. I knew the date (September 10th), I knew he had the ring, but I didn’t have any idea where he was going to propose. The morning of the 10th he picked me up early and we drove to Muir Woods, which I had shared with him was one of my favorite places. We walked a mile into the park, pausing every so often to talk about the trees and making exaggerated symbolism about the meanings of life together about the steadfast endurance of the forest. We finally stopped at the fourth bridge, waited for a gaggle of giggling girls to move along, and then we sat on the edge of the bridge and enjoyed the silence of the park. Kyle got down on one knee and proposed! I was so incredibly happy. We spent the rest of the day driving through Sausalito, San Fransisco, and the Marin Headlands.
Thanks for stopping by!
