It was one of the hottest day’s of the year for Dani and Mitch’s wedding! Dani’s bridesmaids wore pink and carried beautiful peony bouquets. The bride wore Tom’s, and the guys wore gray suits with peony boutonnieres. Plus, the wedding ceremony was in one of the prettiest churches Karen Ann Photography has ever photographed.
After the ceremony, they took a few photos by the gazebo, where Mitch proposed to Dani, before heading to the reception and sunset photos. At the reception both the Maid of Honor and Best Man had the best speeches. The Best Man was quiet all day, until the speech where he turned into a complete comedian. And the Maid of Honor rapped her speech to the Nicki Minaj song “Anaconda”, describing the bride and groom’s love story.
Instead of serving cake, Danielle and Mitchell had cupcakes. They were incredible, filled with raspberry or lemon filling. After dinner, the bridal party and photographer went outside for the sunset photos, which turned out perfect because it finally cooled down. When the sunset photos were over the dancing began.
From the bride:
We met at St. Norbert College (that is why we are getting married there, and he proposed in the gazebo on campus). We met because of mutual friends (Cody Stelmach who is a groomsman) and sports. I ran track, and he played basketball, so we saw each other all the time in the sports complex. Mitchell is originally from Montana, and I would never have met him if he didn’t go to St. Norbert. We love that we can be our silly, fun, outdoors, competitive selves and help each other be a better person each day.
Thanks for stopping by!
