This styled shoot was a dream to create. The photographer, Britani Edwards Photography, envisioned the idea of a navy and champagne outdoor shoot with loads of glamour, and everyone involved quickly fell in love with the vision as well!
Once they had a rock star vendor team and venue in place, it was time for the model call. With Britani’s gorgeous daughter as the flower girl, Britani sent out a model call for the rest, and the response she got was beyond amazing. They chose the ring bearer and the gorgeous engaged couple, and all that was left was the bride and groom. Then, in came a submission and their story touched everyone. This husband and wife got married quickly because they had a baby on the way. Obviously, they didn’t have time for a proper wedding. And once the rest of the vendors heard their story, everyone jumped at the chance to plan a styled wedding for the sweet couple.
This shoot quickly turned into the real life husband and wife’s dream wedding. We had everything from the altar, a head table, the cake cutting, and we topped the night off with champagne bottle popping and a first dance for the lovely couple.
Second to the love, this shoot was all about the details. The venue was a run down glass factory and the golden hour sunlight was divine. The team had mapped out everything a wedding would need and they went crazy styling it. They even included the couple’s get away transport, a vintage bicycle!
Starting with the altar, Not Too Shabby Boutique brought these gorgeous antique doors and framed the altar space. Draping was added to give it a soft touch and because there’s not a drape that blows in the wind that we don’t like. After the wedding, the next place a guest would see is the welcome table. They dressed this table with champagne sequin tablecloths and gave the guests the option to fill their glass with champagne and strawberries while admiring the beautifully done invitation suite. They then crafted the reception space with a small four-person table with a dramatic feel. They selected a navy satin tablecloth and arranged gold and champagne table dressings on top. The florist finished the style off with a tall mercury candelabra with hydrangeas, roses, peonies, and eucalyptus draping off of it.
The last set was a gorgeous buffet table from W Rentals & Events, and it was dressed desserts galore. There was a beautiful three tiered naked cake that sat in the middle and each side held additional decadent desserts. There was everything from cream puffs to macaroons. Although this was a styled shoot, it turned out to be one of the most romantic weddings ever. The bride and groom were beyond grateful, and the couple who were engaged were so happy to receive beautifully styled engagement photos. Britani’s daughter, Addie, was beyond adorable, and the ring bearer is just a bundle of cuteness. And the love shared throughout the day was so touching, and all of the small business owners walked away with renewed spirit for why they started our wedding businesses in the first place!
Thanks for stopping by!
