Kylie and Kyle’s day was so full of thoughtfully planned details. From their mismatched bridesmaid’s dresses in various colors to their one-of-a-kind wedding venue and photography by Katie & Alec Photography, their guests, (and you), won’t forget their wedding anytime soon!
They found their venue, which is better known as a music venue, and knew immediately it was a diamond in the rough. They worked with the owner, their incredible families, and friends to revamp the entire space to fit their dream. From the fresh sod they laid by hand, to the color on the brick walls, it was all brought to life from their vision. They wanted the space to host both their ceremony & reception, and put a high value on the open feel for both.
Instead of traditional wedding flowers, Kylie opted for mostly greenery to decorate her wedding with hints of white flowers to add a more feminine feel. Thorne & Thistle delivered a stunning set up from the bouquets to the reception decor.
From their incredible bridal party to their supportive family, Kylie and Kyle were surrounded by loved ones. It is such a testament to how kind they are and how they’ve attracted similar souls to be their friends. There is a level of humility about them both that you can’t ignore, and it makes people take notice. Together they’re a gentle force of joy & faith that’s beautiful to watch. Those traits made their day so fun for everyone. There was barely a dry eye during their ceremony as they said their vows & ushered in their marriage with prayer & communion. Watching their moms look on with such pride was one of the most moving moments in the whole ceremony. There was so much love radiating from them for their children as they said, “I do.”
Once they were man and wife and the reception began it was one huge party. Dinner was served from food trucks, the incredibly talented Moon Dance played, and the brewery next door served local brews! They even had the Auburn staple, Toomer’s Lemonade, served all night long. Everyone had a phenomenal time celebrating with Kylie and Kyle. It was an awesome atmosphere with classic southern anthems playing in the background, the Auburn fight song was sung, and even an acoustic final performance of “Sweet Home Alabama” played down on the dance floor. Everyone hopped on the dance floor and didn’t stop until it was time to bid the newlyweds farewell with a sparkler exit.
Thanks for stopping by!
