A Sweet Wedding at White Stallion Ranch

A couple of my favorite photographers are dropping by today to share this beautiful wedding with us. The fabulous husband and wife team of Jason and Jessica from Session Nine Photography sent over this lovely Arizona ranch wedding held at a place that holds great meaning to both the bride and the groom. Let's hear a few words from the bride: "Even before my husband Carl proposed, I dreamed of getting married at the place where we met and fell in love, The White Stallion Ranch in Tucson, Arizona. This is where our families vacationed and Carl and I would reunite there for a week each April Click Here to Read More

Balancing A Valentine’s Wedding Theme with a Mix of Natural Tones & Textures

Are you thinking about having a Valentine's theme wedding? It could be amazing! If so, I have some great "Heart Day" inspiration for you. Choosing red and pink hearts to represent your day can be tricky though as you don't want to overwhelm your space, or your guests, with to much red and pink...if you know what I mean. And a great way to "tone" things down is to mix in a few natural tones, like wooden chairs and burlap fabrics to give the theme an over-all balance. Also, choosing different dresses for your bridesmaids in complimentary hues can definitely downplay an unintentional overload Click Here to Read More

It’s NEVER Too Early To Start Thinking About Decorating For The Holidays

Happy November everyone! It's the first day of Quinley month. Yep, our little fur baby's turning 2 in seven days. And just like her mommy & daddy...we celebrate the whole month! And why not start the celebration by thinking about this year's holiday decor. It's never too early to start thinking about the holidays, is it? It is November after all. And in my opinion by this time you should be free and clear to start decorating whenever you want :-) At least that's what I tell The Hubby when he rolls his eyes at the boxes of decorations which have suddenly appeared in our living room...haha! Why Not Try Designing with a Splendid Blue, Brown & Gray Palette?

I'm sure it'll be no surprise that blue is a favorite color of mine to design with. Clearly that's obvious just by glancing at a few of  the DIYs posted here as most of them have some sort of blue in them. Even the blog design has a bit of blue in it. Studies show blue is associated with clear thoughts, focus, intellect and communication. In addition, blue is thought to be a calming color as well as being a hue that promotes creativity. Awesome! Now I'm even more happy to have so much blue around me. As for gray, there's not a lot of positive things written about any benefits of using the Click Here to Read More

Two Photographers Tie The Knot In This Seriously Gorgeous Wedding From Antigua, Guatemala (Part 2)

And here's part 2 of Kristiaan and Lionel's gorgeous Antigua wedding and a few words from the bride about their amazing day. "After the ceremony, guests rode a chicken bus (a brightly painted school bus) to the ruins of an old church where we celebrated the night away. I'm a DIY girl, but I had to settle on just a few items to bring and a limited number of craft projects. It was difficult to hand over the reins to a local, but with a destination wedding, I knew I had to. I sent the decorator screenshots to give him a sense of what I wanted — neutral colors (peach, gray, cream, tans, and Click Here to Read More

A Fun Loving Couple & Their Beautiful Mt. Madonna Wedding

The editing and layout of today's featured wedding is a little out of the norm for me. Why? Well, because I typically don't post so many shots of the bridal party and it's unusual for me to use almost every single image that was submitted. But today's wedding photographed and submitted by Rose Street Studio caused me to break all the rules because I love each and every one of these images that much. I mean, how could you not post all these bridal party images? I mean...look at how much fun they're having! Bride and groom Jackie and Rich originally met in high school, but didn't begin dating Click Here to Read More

Rich and Michael Tie The Knot at Clover Forest Plantation with Blue, Green & Plaid Details!

I'm not going to get all gushy and talk about how great it is that Rich and Michael finally got married. As awesome as that is, given no matter what, marriage is about the LOVE and relationship between two people and nothing else. Nope, instead I'm going to let you admire the beautiful images of their wedding held at Clover Forest Plantation and photographed by Grant & Deb Photographers. Also, I have to mention the couple's fantastic choice of blue, green and plaid details. Even the officiant is wearing a plaid scarf! Combined with numerous glass canisters of M&M's sprinkled about the reception, Click Here to Read More
